[2022.12.01] Prof. Ki-Yong Oh is appointed as an associate editor in the field of dynamics at the Journal of Mechaincal Science and Technolgy (JMST, Springer). His appointment is for three years and ambassador for the JMST to promote it among colleageus and contacts.

[2022.09.26] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the KEPRO Research Institute for the project titled “Development of Advanced Live-line Maintenance Teleoperated Robot System for Overhead Distribution Lines ($9,054,889K in total and $1,810,978K@HY, 2022.09.28-2024.12.27, Co-PI(25%))”. In this project, the ADIP laboratory will collaborate Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) to develop a smart enviorment cognition system by fusing novel vision and Lidar sensors for an autonomous robot system, which repaires overhead distribution lines".  

[2022.08.26] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the LG Electronics for the project titled “Development of multiphysics finite element models for a lithium-ion cell and module to estimate thermal runaway ($88,000K, 2022.09-2023.08)”. In this project, the ADIP laboratory will develop a high fidelity multiphysics model for cylinderical LIBs and validate its accuracy with thermal runaway experiments. This project also aims to develop a global model of LIB modules and packs to secure thermal reliability and safety".  

[2022.08.23] A patent entitled Apparatus for generating flight path of unmanned aerial vehicle and method thereof (10-2436589, Korea) is registered. Congrats Siheon!!!

[2022.08.14] Article entitled "Novel active management of compressive pressure on a lithium-ion battery using a phase transition actuator" has been accepted in the Energy Reports (I.F: 6.870, JCR Top 21.49%). Congrats Jinho!!!

[2022.08.08] A patent entitled Autonomous flight system for unmanned aerial vehicle to inspect an ultrahigh voltage power transmission facility and method of operation thereof (10-2022-0097996, Korea) is applied for. Congrats MS!!!

[2022.07.19] Article entitled "Bilinear tuned mass damper for spar-type floating wind turbines" has been accepted in the Ocean Engineering (I.F: 4.372, JCR Top 8.33%). Cheers!!!

[2022.07.07] A patent entitled Battery system capable of controlling the internal state of battery module and control method thereof (10-2022-0083956, Korea) is applied for. Congrats JH!!!

[2022.06.30] Nice presentation of Siheon, Mingwan, Joonhyeok, Mumsu, and Hyunseung at the PHM Korea 2022, Seoul, Korea. Congrats!!!

[2022.06.16] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the KEPRO Research Institute for the project titled “Development for XAI based anomaly diagnosis and integrated algorithm ($681,604K in total and $340,802K@HY, 2022.06.16-2025.02.16, Co-PI(50%))”. In this project, the ADIP laboratory will develop an intelligent prognostic method and early detection of faults in power plants".  

[2022.05.15] Article entitled "Versatile multiphysics model for thermal runaway estimation of a lithium-ion battery" has been accepted in the International Journal of Energy Research (I.F: 5.164, JCR Top 1.471%). Congrat Jun-hyeong!!!

[2022.05.27] Nice presentation of Siheon and Mingwan as well as the invited talk for the promising scientist at Annual Spring Confernece 2022 of the KSNVE 2022, Changwon, Korea. Congrats!!!

[2022.05.11] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the Korean Institute of Energy Research for the project titled “Intelligent diagnostic system for crack inpsection of the internal structure of a wind turbine blade - Phase I ($67K, 2022.05.01-2022.11.31)”. In this project, the ADIP laboratory will develop intelligent environmental cognition and inspection system, which can be deployed to mobility".

[2022.03.01] ADIP lab. has received research funding from LG Electronics for the project titled “Process optimization of robot high-frequency brazing with optical image analysis ($55K, 2022.03.01-2022.10.31)”. In this project, the ADIP laboratory will develop (1) the next generation of a deep learning method for image classification and (2) its advances by fusing information extracted from optical and thermal images.
