[2020.08.06] ADIP lab involved in Department of Intelligent Energy Industry awards the BK21+. This 84 months project ($9,000K in total, $530K for ADIP lab, 2020.09-2007.08) will be carried out through collaboration of professors in Department of Intelligent Energy Industry. BK21+ forces on scholarships for graduate students and provides many facilities to encourage advanced researches. Cheers!!!

[2020.04.30] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) for the project titled “Development of Automatic Extinguishing System for ESS Fire”. This five-year project ($8,000K in total, $500K for CAU, 2020.04.01-2024.12.31) will be led by Fire Insurers laboratories of Korea and develops intelligent automatic extinguishing system of the ESS. In this project, ADIP laboratory led by Prof. Ki-Yong Oh will develop a method to predict thermal runaway of the ESS with a multi-physics modeling approach and deep learning fusion. It will be carried out through collaboration with Korea Battery Industry Association, Paratech, Alllitelife, and H2K solution.  

[2020.04.30] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) for the project titled “Development of Elevator Operating & Managing Service Technology for Extending Available Service Time of Elevator”. This three-year project ($6,000K in total, $379K for CAU, 2020.04.01-2022.12.31) will be led by Hyundai Elevator and develop source technology of PHM for intelligent Elevator O&M. In this project, ADIP laboratory led by Prof. Ki-Yong Oh will develop a method to predict a remaining useful lifetime of core components in elevator by addressing a deep learning method. It will be carried out through collaboration with Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, Korea Elevator Safety Institute, Inha University, and ERC.

[2020.03.01] ADIP lab. has received research funding from National Research Foundation (NRF) for the project titled "Impedance management and lifetime enhancement of a lithium-ion battery for electric vehicles with low and high frequency pressure excitation fusion." This five-year project ($573K in total, 2020.03.01-2025.02.28) will be led by Prof. Ki-Yong Oh and develop a core methodology to enhance lifetime with pressure control for a packed lithium-ion battery

[2020.01.18] Invited talk at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA (title: Mobility in PHM: diagnosis and prognosis of power transmission lines)

[2020.06.04] ADIP lab. has received research funding from the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) for the project titled “Development of Robot Operation Methodology for Patrol and Inspection of Underground Power Transmission Tunnels. ” This 30 months project ($1,012K in total, $304K for CAU, 2020.06.01-2022.11.31) will be carried out through collaboration with Prof. Soohee Han (Postech) and Prof. Hyun Myung (KAIST). ADIP lab will develop inspection methods for power facility and underground tunnels to secure reliability and safety of underground power system with novel sensors and artificial intelligence fusion.
