[2025.04.21] The ADIP Lab has been awarded a $2.0 million research grant from the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) to lead a pioneering project titled "Autonomous Inspection and Maintenance Technology for Infrastructure via Intelligent Mobility Systems." Spanning from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029, this initiative aims to advance cutting-edge technologies for the autonomous inspection and maintenance of infrastructure using intelligent mobility platforms, including drones and legged robots. The project will also explore innovative virtual sensing solutions and AI-driven transformation techniques to enable the next generation of digital twins and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) technologies. [2025.02.28] The ADIP Lab has received research funding from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) to support the project titled "Physics-Informed Hyperintelligent Transformation and Pressure Control Strategy for Thermal Runaway Management of Lithium-Ion Batteries." This project, with a budget of $0.72 million, will run from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2028. As part of this initiative, the ADIP Lab aims to develop a groundbreaking architecture for multiphysics-informed neural networks to predict lithium-ion battery thermal runaway. The research will also focus on designing an effective thermal management strategy incorporating pressure control. The Best ADIP!!!
